Eggs can be eaten more

In ancient times, breakfast included eggs of any American. Everything changed in the seventies, when the American Heart Association has recommended reducing consumption of eggs and cholesterol to 300 mg per day.

But now nutritionists say to Americans that we should eat more eggs, more that the previous recommendations apply to people with elevated cholesterol levels.

Eggs are inexpensive, do not contain many calories, a lot of protein, riboflavin, folate, choline, selenium and vitamins B12, A, D and K. Egg yolks give us important nutrients for brain cell membranes. Are an indispensable food for growing children, as well as older people.
